The property owners in Grand Prairie showed up at their City council meeting, thanking them for letting them know about SB840- it has been so quietly announced. City council jumped in to work and is protecting single family homeowners from high density residential development.

SB840 is changing how cities can control their local zoning. Some City councils are acting to protect single family homes, others are not acting, at least not yet. Supplemental requirements may keep development out of their cities.
